Dear Finding Our Roots:
Lowercase is offering up housing to around 15 folks.
Some things you should know about Lowercase, if you're interested;
1) We have several cats. Respect them or they'll maul you.
2) We have a rat problem, that is slowly being solved by the aforementioned cats.
3) Our house (like most in Chicago) is not wheelchair accessible, but we will gladly accomodate.
4) We are a legally-occupied squatted space. Eviction is always a possibility, but highly unlikely.
5) Our house is not a kid-friendly space.
6) We have water and electricity, but no gas, (which means no hot water for showers.
7) Transphobia, racism, homophobia, sexism, ableism, ect, ect will not be tolerated.
We love alcohol, but hate scumfucks. If can't drink without being one, don't.
And most importantly...
9) Absolutely no called-out rapists, undercover cops, or snitches allowed. No exceptions.
Thanks,
Lowercase Collective
